Signet Maritime provided two ocean ASD (tractor) tugs to transport rig RUBICONE from Sabine, Texas to Ingleside, Texas. Signet also provided harbor assist tugs for the inbound assist and loadout of the rig aboard HLV TERN. The operation was completed without incident or injury and the tugs made exceptional speed and handled the rig with ease according to the Marine Warranty Surveyor.

Assisted loadout of jack-up rig OFFSHORE MISCHIEF from fabrication yard in Hamirya Sharjah to an HLV for transport to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Signet provided ocean tugs, harbor tugs, Towmaster, towplan, pilots, agency and customs clearances. After the 35 day transit to Brazil, Signet provided tugs for the wet tow to location offshore.

Signet Maritime provided towing tugs to transport NOBLE JOE BEALL from Dubai to offshore Qatar. Signet-operated tugs OP SPRITE and OP SPIRIT assisted in the rig move and completed the move safely with no incident or injury.

Towing tugs OP SPRITE and OP SPIRIT assisted in the transfer of rig NOBLE CHUCK SYRING from Middle East location in the RasGas field to a nearby drill area. A Major Project Risk Assessment was held prior to transport and all operations were completed without incident or injury.

Signet Maritime was appointed Transportation Manager to wet tow jack-up rig from offshore Qatar to location near Sharjah. Signet provided towing tugs SUSANNA and OP SPRITE, Towmaster, Tow Plan, pilots, agency and customs clearances, and reporting/communications. A Major Project Risk Assessment Meeting was conducted and all operations were completed without incident and injury

Assisted OCEAN SCEPTER inbound on HLV TREASURE during her transit and offload at Kiewit. She was escorted from the jetties by Signet tugs and safely offloaded and positioned.

Signet provided primary towing vessels for the towage of rig ENSCO 50 from Mina Khalid, Sharjah to Al Shaheen Field, Qatar. Signet mobilized two (2) suitable vessels and arranged appropriate agency clearances. An MPRA presentation was held with all parties to ensure a safe execution of entire project.

Signet provided primary towing vessels for the towage of rig ENSCO 84 from ASRY Shipyard, Bahrain to Al Shaheen Field, Qatar. In addition, Signet provided Towmaster services, agency clearances and MPRA Pre-Tow meetings for the project. The tow was completed safely and without incident.

Signet was awarded the contract for a licensed Towmaster for positioning rig ENSCO 96 at a particularly challenging position in the Al Shaheen field offshore Qatar. The project was assessed, organized and executed safely and without incident.

Appointed Transportation Manager to wet tow jack-up rig from offshore field location Punto Fijo, Venezuela to offshore Chaguaramas, Trinidad. Provided ocean, harbor and assist tugs, Towmaster, Tow Plan, pilots, agency and customs clearances, and reporting/communications. A Major Project Risk Assessment Meeting was conducted with all concerned parties to ensure a safe transport of rig.

Provided two (2) Signet towing tractor tugs to assume the tow of the Rowan rig JP BUSSELL offshore enroute to Ingleside, Texas. Provided two (2) additional Signet tractor assist tugs for the inbound transit to Kiewit Offshore Services, Ingleside, Texas for preparation and loadout on HLV TALISMAN.  Signet also provided all tug assistance for loadout, shifting and sail away of HLV TALISMAN. 

Signet provided the primary towing vessel for the towage of rig offshore Qatar in the Arabian Gulf. Signet was able to mobilize a strong vessel in approximately five hours to respond to this request from Ensco Middle East. The towing vessel arrived swiftly and commenced working with rig for the towage. The rig move was completed in less than three days, where 5 were allotted. The project was completed safely and efficiently without incident.

Signet provided the tugs for sail away in conjunction with the Brazos Santiago Pilots.

Provided harbor and assist tugs to tow rig from sea buoy to Kiewit Offshore Services, Ingleside, Texas for preparation and loadout on HLV TARGET. Services included MPRA Meetings, pilots, linemen, U.S.C.G. clearances, weather reporting and communications. Signet provided tug assistance for the loadout, assisted with numerous shiftings while at dock and provided fuel to rig.

Appointed transportation managers to wet tow rig OFFSHORE FREEDOM from Lamprell Shipyard, Sharjah, UAE to Ras Al Khafji in Saudi Arabia for clearance into KSA, then on to drilling site in the Neutral Zone, Persian Gulf offshore near the border of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Provided main towing tugs, assist tugs, surveys and pilots. In addition Towmaster, on-site Project Manager, Major Project Risk Assessment Meetings, Impact Weather, communication services and agency clearances were all under the direction of Signet's scope.

February: Appointed Transportation Manager to wet tow jack-up rig from Keppel AmFELS, Brownsville, Texas to Kiewit Offshore Services, Ingleside, Texas for preparation and loadout on HLV with further husbanding for pilots, linemen, port officials, customs clearances and tugs in Sharjah, UAE. Provided Towmaster, weather reporting, communications and side scan sonar of soft pin location at KOS. Major Project Risk Assessments held for Pre-Tow and Pre-Loadout operations. Signet also provided tug assistance in Brownsville for the launching of the rig in August 2008.
April: Signet provided the support to discharge rig OFFSHORE INTREPID, a jack-up drilling unit, from HLV and arranged tug services to tow the rig to Lamprell Shipyard, Sharjah, UAE. We provided the Port Captain, towing vessels, shuttle launch vessel, pilots, communications, weather reporting, agency and customs clearances, harbor tugs and cargo vessel for delivery of groceries to the rig prior to discharge. The project was completed safely and efficiently without incident.
May: Provided pilots, towing tugs and assist tugs to wet tow rig OFFSHORE INTREPID from Lamprell, Sharjah, UAE to Neutral Zone in the Persian Gulf offshore border of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Agency clearances, on-site Project Manager, weather services, communications and MPRA were all provided under the scope. The rig was successfully towed to location without incident.

Provided harbor, assist tugs, and a line handling RHIB to wet tow from Aransas Pass sea buoy to Kiewit Offshore Services, Ingleside, Texas and from KOS to jetties.
