Signet provided turnkey project management and towage for rig BEN LOYAL. Signet's two ocean ASD (tractor) tugs towed the rig from Bay of Campeche, Dos Bocas, MX to Keppel AmFELS shipyard Brownsville, TX. Signet also provided pilots, Towmaster, harbor assist tugs emergency tow cables for the towage and out/inbound assist and loadout of the rig onto drydock at Keppel AmFELS. Signet was contracted for the return tow of the rig to Bay of Campeche after the completion of repairs in Brownsville, TX.

Signet was awarded turnkey project management and towage of MODU Jack-up VEER PREM. Signet's two ocean ASD (tractor) tugs towed the rig from Galveston, TX to Ingleside, TX. Signet also provided pilots, a Towmaster, harbor assist tugs, emergency tow cables for the tow project and in/outbound assist and loadout of the rig aboard a Cosco HLV. Signet arranged and contracted for the deephole and other repairs at Kiewit Offshore Services in Ingleside, TX. The operation was completed safely and within budget.

Signet was awarded a turnkey transportation package for the installation of suction piles, manifolds and pump stations at an offshore location Gulf of Mexico (Walker Ridge). Signet provided ocean tugs, offshore mooring assist tugs, harbor tugs, assist tugs, ocean going deck barges, RHIBs and OSV support. Tow plan, Mooring Master, engineering and design services fabrication and installation of barge modifications for support of the project, in addition to MPRAs, ballast engineering, NDE and on-site project management.

Signet was awarded the hull integration with the topsides at Kiewit Offshore Services. Signet provided all the fabrication yard support work, escorts to and from sea, as required, and a fast response craft for line handling. A Major Project Risk Assessment Meeting was conducted prior to movement. During tow out, the lead tug's engines failed and the SIGNET VOLUNTEER rushed to the rescue. She went into reverse tractor mode and towed the HARVEY WAR HORSE backwards with the rig still attached. The SIGNET MAGIC and SIGNET CHALLENGER went reverse, towing backwards through the jetties to the sea buoy safely removing the rig out of harms way for its voyage to location.

Signet was involved in this project at conception and was awarded turnkey project management for the towing of the hull from Port Arthur, TX to Ingleside, TX for integration with the topsides. Signet provided the fabrication yard support work, escorts to and from sea and fast response craft for tow to field and work on location, Tow plan, Towmaster, weather reporting, communications, pilots and U.S.C.G. clearances. A MPRA Meeting was conducted prior to movement.

Signet was contracted to provide the entire turnkey service for project integration and transport from Kiewit Offshore Services down the LaQuinta and Corpus Christi ship channels and onto location at Mississippi Canyon 920 in the Gulf of Mexico. This consisted of contracting with DOF Subsea for relative positioning, Global Maritime for Towmaster services, providing all of the inland and offshore tugs to transport the vessel to location and for installation. The process required extensive coordination, pre-planning conferences and communication with all stakeholders to ensure the project departed on time and was accomplished safely with zero incidents and under budget. The full turnkey package resulted in over four million dollars of savings for the client.
